About Krishna

 

Krishna Kunwar was born and raised in the breathtaking land of Nepal—a country of snow-capped mountains, crystal-clear rivers, and pure mountain air that draws travelers from all over the world. Nepal is home to Mount Everest, the tallest peak on Earth, and its proud people have preserved their freedom and culture through the centuries.

In 2015, artist Yelena Loginova traveled to Nepal, and in the beautiful city of Pokhara she first met a gifted solo musician performing at a restaurant called Amsterdam. By destiny’s design, Krishna later found his path to the United States, and in 2023 he became a U.S. citizen.

More recently, with Yelena’s encouragement, Krishna discovered within himself another powerful gift—the gift of painting. While Yelena guides him in certain details of artistic technique, it is Krishna’s soul as a musician that breathes life into his art. His works carry a rare blend of rhythm, passion, and intensity, transforming the energy of music into visual form. Each painting is a celebration of sound made visible—a voice of freedom, spirit, and beauty.
